In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Quality Assurance and Testing Center (QUATEST 3) (06/04/1976 – 06/04/2025), and with the approval of the Center’s Board of Directors, the Trade Union and Youth Union jointly organized a logo design contest under the theme: “QUATEST 3 – 50 years dedicated to quality, shaping the future with confidence”. The competition was launched from April 28 to May 27, 2025.
News:
Over the course of one month, the contest attracted enthusiastic participation from 47 staff members currently working at QUATEST 3.

At the award ceremony, Mr. Trần Quốc Dũng, Director of QUATEST 3 and Head of the Judging Panel, emphasized the creativity and dedication shown in all submissions. According to the Organizing Committee, the entries were distinctive and original, successfully conveying the spirit, message, and identity of QUATEST 3, as well as the heartfelt sentiments of the authors.
As stipulated by the contest structure, only one outstanding work was selected for the first prize. To ensure fairness and professionalism, the Organizing Committee invited external experts to join the judging panel: Mr. Phạm Công Hoàng – Head of Fine Arts at the Đồng Nai Arts Association, and Mr. Nguyễn Văn Bình – Lecturer at the Đồng Nai College of Decorative Arts.
After a thorough review based on criteria of content, design, creativity, and practical applicability, the Judging Council and the Organizing Committee decided to confer the following awards: Certificates of Recognition for 42 submissions, 4 Consolation Prizes, and 1 First Prize.

Winning Logo Design
According to the author, the winning logo is not only a commemorative symbol of the 50-year milestone but also a declaration of QUATEST 3’s values, journey, and vision. Each design element was carefully crafted, reflecting profound messages of sustainable development and a steadfast commitment to quality. Color Symbolism: The golden bronze tone represents time and enduring values. Design Concept: The flowing lines signify the passage of time and continuous growth. Stylized “50”: Soft, fluid contours embody the dynamic flow of time and the pursuit of quality.

The First Prize was awarded to Ms. Nguyễn Mai Thanh Nhàn from the HR Dept.
The award ceremony took place on August 14, simultaneously at the headquarters on 49 Pasteur Street, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, and at the Biên Hòa Laboratory. In his remarks, Mr. Dũng expressed deep appreciation for the passion and enthusiasm of all participants. Though not professional designers, the contestants demonstrated remarkable creativity, closely adhering to the contest’s theme and effectively capturing the spirit and core values of QUATEST 3.
Reflecting on the 50-year journey, Mr. Dũng noted that while the milestone is not extraordinarily long, it represents a significant chapter for a scientific and technical institution. He also expressed his strong confidence in the younger generation, whose energy and innovation will drive the Center toward new achievements in the future.
During the ceremony, Mr. Nguyễn Anh Triết – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director, and Chairman of the QUATEST 3 Trade Union – presented the Consolation Prizes.
